US Congressman Frank Fallon, members of the Armenian Affairs Committee David Valadao, Gus Bilirakis, Adam Schiff and Brad Sherman have introduced a resolution condemning Azerbaijan's blockade of Nagorno Karabakh Armenians and ongoing human rights violations, calling on US President Joe Biden to immediately end US military and security assistance to Azerbaijan and to fully implement Section 907 of the Freedom Assistance Act and provide US humanitarian assistance to Armenian victims in Nagorno Karabakh.

The bipartisan resolution states that Azerbaijani forces violate international obligations to resolve disputes with Armenia and Artsakh peacefully after the war they unleashed in 2020.
The resolution says Azerbaijani President Aliyev has used rhetoric calling for ethnic cleansing of indigenous Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh, and his regime has consistently violated important international humanitarian law agreements during the 2020 war and to date.
