In connection with the incident of the fire in the shelter of the military unit located in Azat village of Gegharkunik marz, GA, the deputy of the rear commander of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, was arrested.
In a conversation with "Armenpress", the information was confirmed by Gor Abrahamyan, the press spokesman of the chairman of the RA Investigative Committee.
"He was arrested, he was charged and a petition was submitted to the court regarding choosing detention as a preventive measure against him," said Abrahamyan.
On January 19, at around 01:30, 15 conscripts died as a result of a fire in the accommodation intended for the personnel of the N military unit, located in Azat village, Gegharkunik marz of the RA Ministry of Defense.
